Maintenance only
Scheduled care for a standard WordPress website hosted elsewhere. Your host looks after the server; we handle the agreed website updates.
- A$165 every 3 months including GST: one visit every 3 months, four visits/year. A$660/year including GST.
- A$195 every 6 months including GST: one visit every 6 months, two visits/year. A$390/year including GST. Longer gaps may not suit websites that change often.
At each visit: compatible WordPress and plugin updates, theme updates where supported and agreed, and a full backup before changes. If our update causes a critical error during the visit, restore and implement the necessary fixes.
Additional repairs, security incident investigations, paid security services and third-party charges are quoted separately. External server access may need your assistance. Older, e-commerce, membership, booking, unsupported and plugin-heavy sites need individual assessment and custom pricing.

How often are software updates and backups completed?
Essential includes three maintenance visits per year, Plus four and Pro six. Routine supported software updates are performed at these visits; monthly payment does not mean monthly routine updates. Critical security updates are prioritised after testing. Every plan includes daily off-site backups retained for 14 days and a backup before maintenance.
What is included in every care plan?
SSL certificate management, automated security checks and uptime alerts, Elementor Pro or Divi access for the selected builder, supported Gravity Forms access, SMTP configuration and up to A$60 towards one domain renewal per 12 paid months. Support is Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Sydney time, excluding public holidays. Agency-managed access lasts while the plan is active. External email subscriptions, vendor usage charges and additional paid extensions are separate.
Is my older or complex website suitable for these prices?
Standard prices are subject to a suitability review. Older, plugin-heavy, e-commerce, booking, membership and custom-integration websites may need initial repairs, different backup frequency or additional ongoing work. We confirm scope and a custom quote first.
What counts as a minor change?
Small text or image replacements and supported-plugin troubleshooting within your monthly allowance. New pages, design changes, integrations, SEO campaigns and copywriting are project work. Allowances do not roll over. Extra work is quoted at A$180 plus GST per hour before it begins.
Is everything covered by maintenance?
The plan covers one agreed site and supported components. Custom features, unsupported or abandoned plugins, client-caused changes, third-party outages, migrations, major malware recovery and redesigns are assessed and quoted separately. Restoration from an available clean backup after a Gren-managed update failure is included.
What does the domain allowance cover?
Up to A$60 towards one domain renewal per 12 paid months. We confirm eligibility and any excess renewal cost first. Additional domains, premium domains, transfer charges, email hosting and email-provider subscriptions are separate. Your domain remains yours.
How do quarterly and annual payments work?
Pay three months upfront and save 4%, or twelve months upfront and save 8%, compared with monthly billing. Your maintenance schedule and monthly support allowance stay the same. CARE10 replaces these discounts during its first 12 months; discounts do not stack. The care agreement confirms the billing period, renewal amount and treatment of unused prepaid service on cancellation.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes, subject to your website’s resources and workflow requirements. A downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle after notice. Complex websites need an individual assessment; Pro does not automatically cover them. Additional storage, bandwidth and transactional email are quoted before provisioning.
What happens if I leave?
Standalone care can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice. For care bundled with website instalments, hosting remains required for the agreed instalment term and any early exit follows the payment schedule and build buyout in your written proposal. Future undelivered hosting and maintenance are excluded from the build buyout. Agency-managed premium update and support access ends when care ends; arrange eligible subscriptions with the vendor or new provider. There are no retrospective licence charges. Basic handover of the paid-for website and domain transfer authorisation is included; hands-on migration is quoted separately.
I’m already a customer. Do I need to change plans?
No. Your existing agreed pricing, services and billing remain in place unless a change is agreed. Contact us to discuss an optional upgrade.
Can hosting replace maintenance?
Hosting keeps your website online. It does not automatically include software updates, form tests or website repairs. Care helps reduce risk; no plan guarantees prevention of every hack, outage or data loss. Recovery depends on an available clean backup and the incident’s scope.
