Emergency Services Property Advisors • Case study

A property advice brand built for the emergency-services community.

Emergency Services Property Advisors launched with a specific audience and needed an identity that connected with it. Grendesign developed the logo and a focused suite of client-facing marketing materials, from business cards and stationery to a presentation folder with a restrained print finish.

Make the audience central to the identity

ESPA approached Grendesign for a logo for its new property advice venture. The business was intended to serve the emergency-services sector, so the identity needed to express a connection with that community while remaining approachable.

We developed a text-based logo using overlapping lowercase letters. The overlapping forms referenced the way emergency services are woven into the community, turning the client’s intended audience into part of the design direction.

Use colour with a clear connection to the brief

The yellow, red and blue palette was chosen in connection with the emergency services ESPA intended to support. The palette connects yellow with SES, red with fire and medical services, and blue with police and paramedics.

For the business cards, a black background gave the coloured logo a strong setting. The identity occupied the front, while contact information sat on the reverse, separating the brand introduction from the practical details.

Create a consistent client presentation

Stationery carried the newly developed logo into everyday communications. It gave the business a consistent visual point of contact as clients moved through their property advice journey.

The presentation folder took a quieter approach. Its front was designed with the logo in spot-gloss varnish on a matt surface, without colour. That treatment gave the identity another expression while retaining the same recognisable mark.

Build the marketing foundation for a specialist service

The project brought the identity and core presentation materials together around one audience. A colourful business card and a more restrained presentation folder serve different situations, but both connect to the same brand.

For professional-services businesses, these materials have a practical marketing role: introducing the organisation, supporting a conversation and presenting information consistently. This project brings that foundation into the logo, business cards, stationery and presentation materials.

What we delivered

  • Text-based ESPA logo and brand identity
  • Overlapping lowercase lettering
  • Yellow, red and blue brand colours linked to the intended emergency-services audience
  • Business card design
  • Stationery design
  • Presentation folder design specifying spot gloss on a matt surface
Grendesign hit the brief straight off and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work by a boutique design company that still believe in personal service.

About this project

What branding work did Grendesign create for ESPA?

The project includes a text-based logo and identity, business cards, stationery and a presentation folder design.

What informed ESPA’s logo and colours?

Overlapping lowercase lettering referenced the emergency-services community. The yellow, red and blue palette was connected to the services the property advice business intended to support.

How was the identity adapted for the presentation folder?

The folder design used the logo in a spot-gloss treatment on a matt surface without colour, giving the same identity a more restrained presentation.
