Grenconnect: one platform for customers, projects and services.
Grenconnect is a custom platform Grendesign built to run its own customer operations. It connects the CRM, job management, subscription billing, invoicing, domain renewals and hosting into one customer account, so the team stops jumping between systems. It’s used daily by our team, and a customer portal is in pilot with selected clients.

The problem
Customer records lived in the CRM. Jobs lived somewhere else. Billing, manual invoices, domain renewals and hosting each had their own system. A simple request meant finding the customer, logging into two or three tools, updating each one and then writing an email to explain what changed.
The brief
Put the customer account at the centre. A team member should open one account, see everything about that client and act on a request without repeating steps in several places. Each existing system keeps its job. Grenconnect connects them.
What the team gets
Customer records alongside project tasks, recurring jobs and services. Hosting data such as bandwidth, server performance and exceptions sits in the same view, and supported changes like adding bandwidth happen there too. Connected workflows update the right systems and notify the customer.
What customers get
A portal that shows their services and work in one place. They can update payment details, request quotes, explore upgrades and give feedback on jobs. It’s being piloted with selected clients before a wider release.
How we built it
AI-assisted design and development plus no-code tools, with an experienced designer refining the interface and engineering review on the code. An independent penetration test found security issues, which we fixed before go-live.
Systems connected
- Customer records (CRM)
- Job and task management
- Subscription billing
- Manual invoicing
- Domain administration
- Hosting management
We built this for ourselves first. The same approach works for any business where staff copy the same information between four systems every day: keep the tools that work, connect them, and give people one screen to work from.
