At Grendesign, we approached the redesign of the Rocky Creek website with a focus on storytelling, usability, and brand authenticity. The goal was to create a digital experience that felt as welcoming and down-to-earth as a visit to the farm itself – while providing users with all the practical information they need to plan their trip.

Our creative approach centred on a warm, rustic aesthetic that reflects the farm’s organic charm:
- Colour palette: Earthy neutrals and natural greens to evoke freshness and warmth.
Typography: A clean, modern typeface balanced with friendly character – ensuring legibility across devices.
Imagery: Full-width, high-resolution farm photography to immerse users in the Rocky Creek experience.
Illustrations: We introduced hand-drawn berry icons – strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries – as bespoke graphic elements. These rustic sketches add personality, reinforce the farm-to-table feel, and serve as gentle visual anchors across the site.
Content Architecture & UX
We developed a user-first content structure that makes it easy to find critical information -especially on mobile:
- Streamlined top navigation and visual “card-style” menus for key sections (U‑Pick, Café, Events).
Seasonal messages are featured prominently and updated regularly.
A weather widget, farm updates, and location details build trust and help plan visits effectively.
Emphasis on accessibility: high contrast, responsive layout, and clear CTAs.
