This logo design for a local Balnarring business uses a bold lowercase font for the name, with clean lines and soft rounded curves for a simple clean and approachable feel. Over the ascenders sits an arrow, creating a pitched rooftop that transforms b & l into a distilled symbol for a house. The rooftop symbol can be adapted into a supporting chevron pattern that can also be used in marketing materials.
The tagline brings in a slightly more serious note, centred underneath – all capitals in a thin san-serif font, it’s lettering is widely spaced for a sense of luxury. The soft pastel blue has a hint of green, reminiscent of the coastal lifestyle of the areas the business is focusing the business growth in. We created a new business card design that uses a Spot UV finish to highlight the symbol in the logo. The business card was printed using a matt laminate adding longevity to the life of the card.
