Long term client Kate recently engaged us to create new branding for her new business Lux & Hound. Challenge accepted! We love designing for a fun new company and following the successful journey through the years to come.
The concept design involved a sharp, narrow font for LUX & HOUND and a give quite an assertive presence. The elongated letter forms and wide spacing embed a sense of drama and importance to this brand. We have accented the ampersand with dusty rose pink, almost akin to a rose-gold. This brand oozes importance and luxury yet still retains a contemporary presence.

The Business / Thank you card design is in keeping with the luxury feel whilst giving a clean and simplistic impression. The contrasting lettering used in the tag line of ‘eat play love’ gives an emotive human element to the card as does the gorgeous image of the dog on the reverse side.

The design of this new brand makes it equally as effective when reversed out from a background, opening up lots options of how it’s applied to marketing projects in the future.
